Tell us a little about yourself.
My name is Nicolas Badeau and a Formula One driver currently vying for first place in the standings. I am the oldest of my family, all of who live in Alsace region of France. A few years ago, my agent saw the potential for using my face to sponsor products and this venture took off. I even have a calendar that is released yearly and women want to date me. But, I can’t forget the one woman who spurned me…Lauren.
What is it about Lauren that appeals to you?
She’s smart, pretty, and sexy—though she doesn’t see herself as such. When we met two years ago, I felt an instant attraction and wanted to get to know her better. We kissed—and almost made love, but she pushed me away and wouldn’t let me talk to her. I wanted to tell her to wait for me. That I knew we were both not ready for a relationship since she was in New York and I wanted to reach the pinnacle of my racing career and would be traveling the world. But I never got the chance. Instead, I waited.
When I found out she needed a ride to my family’s chateau for Christmas, I jumped at the chance to drive her. Alas, a snowstorm didn’t allow us to talk much during the harrowing trip. But now we cannot go any farther, for the roads are closed. We’ll need to spend the night together at a hotel. Sharing the one room left—and the one bed.
Do you intend to make the first move on Lauren?
No. Not unless it is what she wants. I see it in her eyes. She cares for me, but is scared of her feelings. I’ll do whatever it takes to relieve her mind. If we make love, then she’ll know how much I love her. I hope for this Christmas to be one that neither of us will forget.
